Never again! There's a line between being rude (which is to be expected) and just plain bad. It took 45 minutes from the time we placed our order to when we actually had our food. The table that was seated and placed their order at the same time as us had already paid their bill and left before we had our food. The host kept telling everyone to `eat, pay your bill and leave`! We wanted to, but the server would not bring our check. We waited 15 minutes after we finished eating to get our bill, another 10 after that for her to come and take the money and another 10 after that to bring our change. Our whole dining experience took almost two hours during which our server was present less than a total of two minutes. Our table (booth) was near the entrance so people waiting for tables were hovering over us while we ate and I had to yell at them to move so we could get up from the table. Ed's was always a `must do` stop whenever we travelled to Chicago. Not anymore!
